I am asking for some help, I am building a PIC development board and its not working and I suspect the crystal. I do not have an oscilloscope and dont know how to test it. In addition to this I have used 100P capacitors and the circuit shows 68P with a 32Khz Crystal. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated

Help us to help you,provide a proper circuit diagram for your development board.

I suspect the crystal.I do not have an oscilloscope and dont know how to test it.

Crystal are not that costly,change with another one to test it.Many times people doesn't set the correct configuration bits settings,check if you have properly configured all the configuration bits.
