Guys im new to ASM programming.
I have been use Microcontroller(AT89S51) only.
I found that most of the gadjet and electronic device use PIC rather than MicroC.
So,whats the difference between PIC and MicroC?
What programming language is common for both?
What are the advantages and disadvantages?

The AT89S51 is a uC made by Atmel; it is an 8051 microcontroller.

The basic idea of the 8051 uC class is that the structure is the same between various uC's, and the software is very portable.

Microchips' PIC uC's vary widely in their architecture. The .ASM language is fairly easy to learn, because there are fewer than 40 instructions. However, the code is frequently not very portable between the various product lines of PIC uC's, as the architecture is tailored to the various functions the uC will provide.
