maybe you can help with this strange problem i am having with the pic 16f887
i am trying to get and 5 x 7 2line lcd to work .
somhow it doesnot want to go into 2 line mode after a external reset.
if i program the pic on my easypic 3 then once finished programming it goes to 2 line mode but the moment i push the reset button on my board it initialises to a one line display.
i have tried to play around with the delay times for the intialising but to no avail.
