Can you explain their function of following registers?
use the datasheet.
it explains in there.
but i can't find it,can please put it in here?
look in chapter 11.
Google is your friend, you know. And your Google is as good as mine.
Then you need data sheets just go to www.google.com And type in the components name let us say 16f877a. But for this time let me google this for you. The first hit was this http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/39582b.pdf
this forums pure comedy genius! love it
Thanks for you'r advice.i didn't have time to read the all data sheet, that's why i put this.
you dont need to, they split it up into chapters so you dont have to.
you didnt search the pdf for what you wanted.
and anyway, good things come to those who wait
You will not be very successful with PICs if you do not read the data sheet. The data sheet is your best friend. You do not have to read the full data sheet from start to end. But you MUST read about the units you will be using. Like in this case the ADC. And it will not be enough to read it once. You must read again and again, and also allow some head head scratching between each reading session. Until you understand how it works. Then you can start programming.
