i'm very new to electronics & i've no basic knowledge on it ..

Basically this is how my project goes..

>> Light sensor (photoresistor) that can automatically adjust the light intensity based on the ambient lighting, which will turn down the lights if a significant amount of sunlight is entering the room, and turn up the lights when there is little sunlight entering the room. The user will also be able to switch to manual control, and adjust the light intensity with a dimmer switch to the desired level.

pls contribute some ideas for my project ..

You could sample the ADC input from the photoresistor and adjust the duty cycle of the LED accordingly to change the brightness?
