Hello everyone,i am working with the dimmer ckt interfacing with raspberry pi
.i am using zero cross dector ckt with moc3021 to dect the zero crossing..zero cross ckt build with MCT2E optocoupler at the input side i am given 27v AC and 12v AC that was show me 0.3 volt and 0.6 for 12 volt ac but the raspberry pi not dected that much as the interrupt..how to get the better output voltage ??

Hello,

Can you post your schematic?
A led in an optocoupler will need a current limiting resistor and a diode for reversed voltage protection.
