I have a 30kva generator which as being working fine. but of sudden, there is no voltage in the red phase. if i connect the breaker to it, the neutral will be reading as life. what can be the course. house help out.

is this a 3 phase generator?

Can you measure the resistance of this faulty winding against the neutral and then compare the resisitance of the other phases to the neutral.

I think, there a winding interruption is in the red phase, maybe a broken wire.
