Just would like to ask if anyone has worked on a circuit (peak-to-peak detector) that can operate up to 1MHz and could measure 5mVpp..

for peak to peak detector you can make use of the positive peak & negative peak detector applied to the 2 inputs of the comparator IC 710 ( can make use of 741 IC ) A positive peak detector will detect +Vp and the negative peak detector will detect -Vp so in total +Vp-(-Vp)=2Vp=Vp-p.
