Both replies are referring to the same software package. If you are not familiar with other PCB layout packages, you will have a pretty steep learning curve. You can go to www.sparkfun.com and find a section of tutorials on its use.

I really like eagle. for a total inexperienced person like myself, I found the program as easy to use as microsoft paint. And that it is free as long as my board sizes are very small is just great too.

BTW keep your eye on the horizon. there's a tech coming out now that will make sylvania LED lights brighter than ever in a year or so.
