hi..im going to do a project on making an IO card..It should be connected to the pc(Windows XP) via usb.. and we are not allowed to use USB-parallel port converters and microcontrollers containing usb protocol stack inbuilt.
specifications:
analog input channel and software facilities to wiew the data in the analog input channel
2 digital output channels
analog output channel

i need to know how can this be connected to the pc.Do i need to write driver ? or is there any simple way to do dat?? is there any inbuilt drivers in windows which i can use?
can i use matlab to wiew input signal??
