Hey everyone. I have a project in class using a 2N5461 p-channel JFET. We are asked to build a singel stage amp using the 2N5461. I have yet to find any circuits using this transistor, or a p-type for that matter in a singel stage amp.
Any help will be very apriciated... Thank you!

If you know how to design an N channel JFET single stage amplifier then you can do the same for a P channel type. The power supply & biasing arrangements are 'different' (i.e. opposite polarity), but nothing too hard on that score.

Similar reasoning applies to NPN and PNP BJT amplifier designs.

Well I was thinking that I could just reverse the polarity, but that just seemed to easy. I know in the case of BJT it trully is that simple. But JFET I do not have the experience with. I did find a littel info in a text that I used last year. I willl go over it tonight if time allows me.. I have two quizes to prepair for.
Thanks for the help.
