when we add two signals in oscilloscope, we get a resultant waveform. Both two signals have different TIME/DIV & VOLTS/DIV settings. Problem is how we can measure the voltage of the resultant waveform, i mean with respect to CH1 or CH2's Knob setting???

Usually, digital oscilloscopes use common settings when adding waveforms. I 'm not that old school to know how they did it whith the analog ones. I 've used them only once or twice.
