I'm currently looking for a 4-pin optocoupler having a single bipolar phototransistor. The transistor needs to have a breakdown voltage equal or above 50V. I can only find optocouplers with a breakdown voltage of 35V. Is there any type, preferably widely used, that you can recommend?

Did you have a look at digikey.pt? There are hundreds of them (Vout > 50V).

If you post more details like package, forward current, CTR, response time etc. one could narrow the search.

The package I'm looking for is a 4 pin DIP. A forward current of about 50mA or 100mA would suffice. The important thing is the breakdown voltage of the phototransistor that has to be at least 50V or above. I think 40V would do too. The switching doesn't need to be fast.

Digikey has a lot of parts, but I need to find a general purpose part that can be found anywhere. A part that is most used. This is for a project. Any suggestions?
