Options to attaching thin (32 to 36awg) wires to pcb. No soldering or crimp terminals

Hello All

I want to design a small pcb (10mm across) to hold sensors. I also want to use thin flexible cabling to connect to them.

I would prefer not to solder the wires to the pcb.
I have been looking at crimp terminals in 1mm or 0.8mm pitch because only in these sizes would the pcb header be small enough, however, these usually require highly specialized and expensive crimping equipment.

Is there any other option?

Thank you

@Ironic You can also use single pin terminals that are solderable:

PC Mountable, single header pin at 0.09g (I don't have a part number, I acquired this from electronic goldmine: G16843)

Conversely, if you just want to be able to push a wire in, you can use pin-receptacles, like from Mill-Max

part #: 0305-2-15-80-47-80-10-0 and this is approx 0.07g

Images are greatly enlarged. don't use my part #'s, look at the respect stock of each vendor and be sure it meets your specific needs.:p
