probably they wont allow it due to human rights issues unfortunately

I'll bet a country like russia or china will get there first as if you die on he way you will be regarded as a national hero and another team will be sent up whereas in Europe and America they'll shelve the programs due to danger to their citizens

The key is all the smaller earthy innovations we make by doing this. Same with A-Bomb lead to nuclear power, WWII led to commercial jets and putting a man on the moon. And the advances made putting a man on the moon were huge.
