one servo 90degree rotation?

Hello,

I need help for a very simple project, and all the info I have found on the subject seems to be overkill.

I need to actuate a servo from 0 to 90 back to 0 degrees, when a circuit is completed

I am trying to reset an airsoft target when it goes down. I was going to have the target (hinged at the base) lean on a switch. When the target goes down/knocked over it completes the circuit, and moves the servo to 90 degrees. This resets the target, and opens the circuit by pressing back on the switch. At this point the servo would move back to the starting position 0degrees.

What would i need to make such a project as simple as possible. I am definitely new to this stuff.

Thanks for any help.

Are you thinking R/C hobby servo? How big is the target...height, width, thickness, weight? Is it going horizontal to vertical on a horizontal axis, or rotating around a vertical axis? Is the target balanced weight-wise on the rotation axis? A sketch might help here.
