Tried to add it to my header files and it won't even come close to building. When I tried to search for the header file on my computer, it wouldn't see the pic16f84a.h file in my downloads folder. any ideas as to why?

 

I used the wrong compiler for the program (duh), and couldn't compile the file. Been working all day and am tired, but will install and see if I can get HiTech compiler to work tomorrow. Good night all.
