Nodal Analysis?

Note that the source to the right is a dependent voltage-to-voltage source. So be careful how you do the analysis. Using Nodal analysis is OK.

is the branch containing the 8V a supernode?

I'm not so sure how to solve it with that 2 ohm resistor next to it

Doesn't look like a super-node.

An careful look at the circuit would tell you that Vo=VN/2. By virtue of the voltage divider formed by the two 1Ω resistors. So 2Vo=VN. If there is no difference between VN and the dependent source output (=VN) what would the current in the dependent source branch be?

From there you will be able to deduce the remaining circuit conditions.
