A 40 amp-hour ni-cd battery needs to be charged safely, what is safe / normal charging current and charging rate? Are there any guide lines or formulas which give charging current and rate of charging for different amp-hour capacity ni-cd batteries used in aviation? The battery manufacturer's data about charging is not available. Thanks in advance
