New to mcu's Little Help please

hey im new here and i have a lot of computer, soldiering, and electrical know how but im new to mcu programming. now im trying to write a code on a 8-bit mcu on an esc and i was told you need a usb toolstick. well is there any way around this? im sorry im a noob:confused:

well im trying to flash an esc with bl-heli code. they say you need a usb toolstick from silabs. but i have a reson to belive this is just for convenience. c2ck c2d and ground on the esc are the pins i need.. so do i need the toolstick or can i wire it up with an old printer cable like jtagging an xbox360?

You need to define what you are doing. Don't give us text message hints. Use full words.

We have no Idea what an "esc" may be, nor what processor is sitting inside it.

sorry guys. its a brushless electronic speed controller. it is a silabs 8bit low voltage micro controller. model f330 or f332. i hope thats right. lol and i trying to flash it with something called blheli. i hope this makes it eisier to answer my noob q's thanks
