New here looking for help with 555 circuit

I built an adjustable timer relay to connect to my remote start on my diesel truck so that it waits for the glow plugs to heat up before it tries starting the vehicle. right now I can set the wait time by adjusting my trimpot but I would like it to adjust the wait time depending on outside temperature on it's own. Is there a way I can add that to my current design?

Hmm, don't know if I would consider this a modification, more less an input to tell a remote starter how long to wait before it activates. I could just buy one that is already on the market but I like making things myself. If no one can help then i'll go elsewhere i guess.
