Ok , I wont go into a big story of what I wanna do but heres the basic technical idea .

Im working with cmos , I have this pulse square wave 50% duty .

I wanna delay this pulse by about 5 u secs , But what I would really want is a delayer that doesnt work with time .

I would preper the delay to be activated by another signal , wich is gonna be high .

I want a chip that can "save a square wave" , exact same frequency , same duty , But I want it to hold it untill my other high signal says so .

So a delayer that is told when to pulse that "saved signal" .

I preper this than a time delayer , but does this exist ?

    Thx you

I doubt there exist such a chip. But that could be done easily with a PIC (or another family of MCU's)...

What is the source of your square wave? Would it be acceptable to control when it's generated, instead of delaying the existing signal? It would be much easier to do.
