I have 2 motors out of sears washings, I don't know how to hook 110 volts up to them to make them run. One has 6 wires coming out, yellow, purple, blue. Black, white with black line on it, and white. Capacitor mounted on top. Can anybody help me make them run?

 

A few pics of said motors would be a help. & posible model numbers of the washing machines?

I agree with the previous post, a few pics would help. I'm thinking that the black wire is positive and the white wire is negative, but if that is so you need to connect your motor to a 110V AC Power supply
