Need help with guitar synthesizer circuit

Hi, it's me again. :)

I'm trying to get this circuit to work, but with no luck.
Is there something missing in the schematic or something?

I'm using a CD4007UBE and a CD4046BE and power the circuit with a single 9V battery.
