can any one help me work out how they got this figure 10.44>-16.7deg from eqation Z=3+j2+4+j3-j2+3
=10+j3
=10.44>-16.7deg
value are resisters and inductors in a 10v peak to peak @ 1khz circuit

 

The value 10.44>-16.7deg is the polar coordinate equivalent to the rectangular coordinate value 10 + j3.
