Hey I am new to this forum .

I am doing the final year project LAser harp .

And I want some help to get the reflection from the laser when we break the beams .

I did try the LDR but its not sensitive enough so I bought TSL257 TAOS lisht to voltage converter but some rason becaus of the ambient light I can't get the reflection of the laser .

CAN anyone help me please ?

Can you modulate the laser source? If so, the modulate it at a few tens of kilohertz and then look for signals at that frequency in your detector.

One way to do it would be to gate the laser and send that gating signal to the detector electronics. Your signal is then the difference between when the gating signal is on and when it is off. This is known as a lock-in amplifier.
