Hi guys,

I have a difficulty to understand how to connect the inputs and the clock pulse for a 4 bit synchronous 74LS163A counter. I am sure to connect my output pins to LED's for displaying out my count but with the inputs pins on 3,4,5,6 i have a serious problem.

Anyone who can give me a brief idea, so that i can make a head start.

Thank you

A mod 16 counter is a simple 4 flip flop counter (binary 4 bits), the chip your using is major overkill. Try grounding the input pins, do not use the load pin, and try it out.
