Need help switching 12 volts DC

    Need to come up with a very simple circuit to switch 12 volts to 2 outputs...back and forth from one to the other...about every second or even better if it was varible speed with a trimmer. Any help GREATLY appreciated. 12 volt in and 12 volts out. Just need to switch the + side. Like using a SPDT switch only with an IC and varible speed.

    You can use a 555 timer circuit in the astable mode with a variable resistor (pot) as part of the resistive leg in the LC part of your circuit. The output of the 555 can drive a relay with change-over contacts to achieve the switching operation you require. (Look at the free tutorial of this forum regarding the use of the 555).
