hi looking for a circuit that uses 12v dc frequency variable from 100 to 250khz. it will send a pulse through one side of electrolyzer then send anouther pulse switching the + and - back throught the other side. It is probably very simple but i am a newbie to electronics.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks jroo

Jroo, welcome to All About Circuits. We have a fairly good search feature here: http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/search.php

If you use the terms "PWM" and either "hydrogen" or "HHO" you will find some previous threads dealing with this topic.

Please take all safety precautions when you experiment with electrolysis. Stoichimetric hydrogen explosions can ruin your whole weekend.

i will check that out thanks for info.

have you looked at gm water car platform it was featured on top gear. it was a stand alone plat form using salt water through a electrolyzer into a small holding tank through a fuel cell into electric motors cost to build 10 million. but it produced enough power to power the homes on your block.. also no batteries.

have a look at top gear gm watercar
