I have a brake light switch that will supply 12v when the pedal is pressed and open when not operated. For my needs, I need it to be the opposite. 12v constant and open when pressed. I could easily do this with a realay but the brake pedal will get used a lot obviously and I dont want a relay to fail. I was thinking about a transistor, but have not idea to make a simple circuit that can do this task. The only load in the circuit would be the cars computer that is looking for the 12v and from the schematic its a transistor .
