Did you find the problem? Did you get it working?

 

yea i was able to get it working...

but i didnt use the 2004 driver..idk if that was what was wrong w/ the circuit but it sure didnt help...i troubleshooted it and there was a clock pulse from (A)Qa,Qb,Qc,Qd...and from (B)Qa,Qc..but not from Qb...im guessing because of the reset we talked about it kept it low...and when i connected it again and tried to see the output after the driver..there was no output from any of the outputs..and 8 and 9 were both clearly grounded...and i tried changing the driver to the other extra driver i had but that didnt work either...

it didnt really light up one and then the other..but each Q output had its own pulse and it made the runway look good enough...
