Need help: Interfacing data line over long distance

Hello Techies,

I need to interface two boards (one daughter board and one master) with SSC interface. It's the propitiatory interface with a master driven clock and bidirectional data line which works in half duplex mode. Range would be around 2meterswith speed of Mbps. I though of using LVDS or 485 interface (differential), but I can not use it since the same pin transmits and receives. Is there any other solution?
