Hello Everyone...

I'm kinda new to programming microcontrollers. I'm working on a project were we have to make two LEDs alternate at frequency f=1.667 Hz by making use of timer interrupts. Can someone help me to do that ?

I'm using ATMEGA8

There's plenty of C source code here using timer interrupts to make any freq you like, from any xtal;
