we have only 2months b4 passing our final project,our topic is a voice recgnition robot,i have read a lot of topics here regarding the topic. but still confused. in our project we need to install a camera in the bot and a microphone in controling it in a distance,may advisers says we need to use a DSP. we are confused about what DSP to use.also we are using a microcontroller arduino.,.what DSP we will use?or anything alternative in mkng the project.

Anyway, if push comes to shove, you can use the Microsoft Speech SDK on a computer to recognize the words and transmit commands/input to the remote device. You could even send information back on various operating conditions of the robot...

The fact that you are using Arduino makes me think you should just start this route now....
