I have a florescent aquarium lamp that has a bad ballast, and I need some help trying to find a replacement.
It's a 48W magnetic ballast powering a 32W compact florescent twin-tube (CFT) lamp. See the photograph for full details.
The bulb it's powering is 12" long. I'm wondering if I can replace it with a ballast like this:
