Hi Guys, currently our group is working on a project called "Negative Air Ioniser".

We cannot make the circuit function like it should. Cockroft-Walton Ladder Network is the main circuit for our ionizer, but i am hesitant that the output is depending on a needle soldered to a wire, which tends to let the negative ions burst into the air.

What factors may we consider to make the circuit work?

I'm hoping that some of you may help us. Thanks.

When you say you cant get it to work, have you got a circuit diagram?

Mr. Dodgydave, after plugging the circuit to the power source there is no obvious evidence that the ions are emitted and released out of the needles. So we are not so sure that our circuit is effective.
