I have never come across a quadrature differential Hall sensor, if bi direction sense is needed.
You could set up two in quadrature, there are the miniature Honeywell SS400 series, there is also the gear sensor ATS617L from Allegro.
Max.
we appreciate for your reply.
present i am using melexis ( MLX-90217) Hall effect gear tooth sensor.. this is working fine with 1.5 mm gap but requires 2.5 to 3.0 mm gap.
Honey well ss400 series would be a better option. Still am suspecting my magnet, i need a help to choose a type of magnet and how to choose for this particular application.
If you have anymore documents to understand the concept of reluctance and gauss of magnet, please share data.
yes.. I mean hall sensors in quadrature are in between gear tooth and magnet.
Attached magnet and hall ic arrangements photographs.
this will insert in a stainless steel housing to sense the gear tooth of motor. it sense the speed of the rotor.
Now suggest me any changes require in selecting magnet or hall IC.
