Want to make a few small electronics that all run off a 12v battery and can be turned on and off with a remote. Im very green to electronics but am very savvy when it comes to building things. Are there web sites or a book that can teach me.

This is a new item im going to be making for my business need to make a prototype first before i can have a manufacture make them.
