Howdy to the Forum;
our group www.veteransinitiative.com a 501,C-19 non-profit is re-fitting a 3 axis Monarch VMC-75 with a Gettys N-150 thyristor amplifier. the servos are beefy & all the MOSFET & IGBT amp mfg'rs would not warrantee them. we are sure the N-150's will work fine. we are planning on using the Servo-To-Go board (4 axis, +/- 10 vdc) with the Gettys analog control cards. the original drive was a Bendix 5M which outputed +/- 7.5 vdc. we also wish to incorporate the EMC 2 with a cad program.
this mill is destined for our school to teach mfg tech to our most deserving citizen, our DAV's so they may obtain career jobs in mfg. all of us involved are Veterans belonging to AL,AMVETS,CWV & MCL.
any advice would be most welcome.
may God protect our valiant warriors, Dominic.

Wow, I guess it's one of these?

If you're lucky there will be someone here that knows about such things. If not, you'll need to supply more detail (specifications, voltages, amperages, etc.) and ask a more specific questions. Schematics and pictures go a LONG way.

Good luck!

Thyristor AND Mosfet & IGBT?
You will need one of the Analogue control cards, as you know.
What kind of spindle is it? Original?

I have done CNC Retro-fits for a living, but have not used EMC, you want to try one of the sites aimed at this such as CNCzone.
