Hello,
i'm trying to put acode in pic16F876A,but i can't
first i'm using winpic to send the code and a simple programmer wiht rs232 connection
i can program 16F84A pic
i tested the device with winpic tools and it says "Device OK",it even know wich device is connection
i can read all,erase all, the memory.everything is okey
but when i'm trying to use program all,it stops at 10% or so,and gives me an error "can't write 0x0000", something like that.
i used another code,but always the same error.
i programmed this pic before. But now,i can't
it seems broken
how can i make sure its broken
coz this stuff in Algeria, are little bit expensive (aboout 7 euro)

the last time you programmed it, you did not set any of the fuses for code protect or something, did you? Can you erase it and do a blank check? Do you have the Low Voltage programming enabled? If you do, do you have RB3 tied to Vdd?
