I'm new for electronics. So please I need your help

I have got a Traffic Light System project for a practice test for my electronics subject. And I have almost completed project with the help of my friend. But the lights function according to the timing given by my friend.

So now I must change it to +7second for each green in both traffic light sets.

Can someone simply tell me what can i do to change those timings? and tell me which component causes to change the timings?

Please! Even a tiny help would be appreciated.

This should be in the homework section. And if you want some pointers you must show your work. So let us start in that end with you posting your full schematic/code work
