G'day folks,

I am using multisim (ver 8 ?) to create circuits (for testing purposes) prior to real component construction.

Normally I would use a dual power supply however multisim doesn't appear have this option - sure it has DC & AC along with CRO etc which is great

Any ideas where it may be if indeed its available.

Hi,

You just type in the value as being negative. So, when you place a standard 5V source, you simply type in "-5V" and it will be a negative voltage source.

Pls can someone guide me through. Am trying to build AC to DC circuit using multism ver.8 but i don't known the exact transformer to use. And i need 230 or 240 volt AC input to 35volts DC output.

For how to make a dual supply from a transformer take a look the link. As note most often the transformer models are not very good then it comes to simulation. It is better to spec the transformer with the rule of thumb given in the latter document. And just use a AC source instead
