I would appreciate any help on this problem Ive been at it for quite a long time. The problem is as follows;
Implement the Boolean function F(w,x,y,z)=(z+(wx))+wx by using a SN74LS151 multiplexer.
Ive attached a view of the multiplexer setup as assigned. The multiplexer has 8 inputs, D0 through D7, and three inputs x,y and z.
My first step appears to be to minimize the Boolean function. The minimized function appears to be;
F=xz+wx
Now, the second step seems to be to create a Truth Table with the FOUR variables of the original function w,x,y and z. One thing, Im not sure about, is the W the LSB for the Truth Table?
Im really lost on this problem. If anyone could point me in the right direction, or recommend some further reading for multiplexers, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!
