Hi All, I'm new to the forum, and hope to stick around for many years to come.

So I'm new to the whole circuit board building, and my first project I want to attempt is a Motor Speed Controller.

As a newbie I'm looking for something as simple and basic as possible. To get the feel of everything.

I didn't quite understand the suggestions you expect to get. Do you have a specific question or area you have difficulties? As far as I saw the guy who created the project from the link you posted has provided source code (didn't check it) and schematic design. Do you plan to copy it or you will make some changes in the hardware (uC etc.)?
