Looking to create a controller. Controller would need:

1) Current Day/Time
2) Ability to set a start time(Turn on - Clock wise)
3) Ability to set a stop time(Turn on - Counter-clock wise)
4) Ablility to cut power after X seconds for step 2 and 3

I have a motor that will turn a value. If I had a direct line to the motor, I would turn it on for about 5 seconds. This would open the value. Then I would need to reverse the connections, to get the motor to turn the other way. I can then turn the motor on for about 5 seconds to close the value. Looking to create a motor to due the same task. Any advice? Looking for help on the design and where I might buy the supplies. Thank you.

By value you mean valve?

A PLC or a smart relay can do the job easily. They might be quite expensive but the work will be neat rather than using discrete components and boards.
