motion detector to pickit2 UART tool

I am building a motion detector which is monitored by a pic18f4520. When motion is detected by the sensor i want to send a word to the pickit2 UART tool. I am using a 10mhz crystal;and 9600 baud. I am using separate connectors, one for programming and the other for UART tool. I have attached my code. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
