Hi,

I'm totally new to this forum and somewhat new to electronics. I'm looking for a circuit to convert a momentary switch to a toggled, latched, on/off switch.

You can use a JK flip flop with its J and K inputs at logic 1. A JK with its inputs at logic 1 is also named as a T flip flop. With the JK in this arrangement the output Q will toggle between 0 and 1 (logic) each time you apply a clock pulse (press the momentary switch). Have a look here:

Press on the blue inputs to make simulation.

AudioGuru has published a 2 transistor (3?) several times that looks fairly simple. If I can find it I'll attach the link.

Found one (there were several)...

This one was here.
