mixing two different signals

what will be the resustant frequency of the signal if suppose i mix two sine wave signals of equal amplitute and different frequencies(50hz and 60hz)?

what will be the resustant frequency of the signal if suppose i mix two sine wave signals of equal amplitute and different frequencies(50hz and 60hz)?
if by 'mix' you mean add them, you'll have a composite signal with both 50 and 60 hz components.

if by 'mix' you mean multiply them, then the resulting signal will have a 10hz component (60hz - 50Hz) and a 110Hz component (60Hz + 50Hz).
