familiar with this little gadget? measures about 2" sphere...used to amplify sound from mp3/4 players... Im just wondering on HOW they manage to make the sound output BIG... its like 1-3watts rms (I think) from a single Li Ion battery(im guessing!) ... they do charge from USB jack (w/c is 5V)...
is there an audio amplifier IC capable of such output power with 5V supply? Im guessing maybe a boost converter(say 4Vin to 12Vout) to power up a common audio output IC(maybe an LM380)..something like that.. ???
just clueless.. have never opened one..
