Purely theoretical....

If two transformers casings where cut and both secondaries removed. Then one placed untop, upside down. As in a mirror image of the other. The primaries on the furthest ends.
1. Will these push away as N-N or S-S in magnets do, or will that depend on how they are placed/wired?
2. If step-down primary is added in the middle, what could the results be?
Thanks

A voltage will be induced in both secondaries, the polarity relative to each will depend on the turns direction WRT the other.
Max.
Thanks! Will I be correct in assuming the correct winding direction will result in a magnetic N/S. Will that result in higher or lower Voltage generation in a secondary coil between the primaries?
